Five cultures in the Hip hop world (Part 2)

3. DJing and MCing (DJ = DiscJockey – Disc player, MC = Master of Ceremony – Park Activator)

Breakdancing could not have been expanded if it was not supported by music mixers (Djing) followed by cheerleaders (Mcing). Djing, abbreviated as Dj, is a short form of Disc Jockey, only those who choose and mix mainly funk and disco music in the 1970s.

Dj’s craft tools today are a pair of “turntables” consisting of two plastic disc players attached to an audio mixer connected to the amplifier and speakers. Djs set up clubs, creating networks of amateur players and their audiences. Sometimes, Dj is also a cheerleader (MCing – abbreviated MC: microphone controller), who is a quick speaker on the song, inviting participants to dance with the music, maintaining the atmosphere quickly and happily according to the music …

4. Rapping:

Another component associated with Djing and Rapping, or Rap for short, is a rhyming verse that is spoken in rhythm on Dj mix music. Rap music since its formation has been associated with street language and slang (street language / urban slang).

In popular language, “rap” uses only a quick, light and soft tap, when switching to African-American slang, “rap” refers to a person with a sharp language ability, who uses language quickly, sensitively and flexibly.

Good rappers (rap singers) have cleverly combined the popular language with the slang, writing and speaking system from “chat” and texting on mobile phones to form a new language system.  They help this language system from being classified at the bottom of society, has now been acknowledged.

5. Beatbox

The Beatbox is an art form in which the performer (also known as Beatboxer) uses sounds from his mouth and voice to create drum beats, melodies, or simulations of negative forms. bars (such as drumming, percussion, human language, disk scrubbing, or other types of sounds, …)

In addition to the 5 typical cultures, Hiphop also has a strong influence on the fashion sector and causes many fluctuations in the style of dress worldwide. In the early days, Hip Hop artists often performed in oversized clothes. Only after a while, this style did not stop at performing costumes but also became a fashion style admired and widely shared by young people. There are quite a number of hip hop fashion recognition features, but the popularity is still a combination of “baggy”, “big shoes” and the combination of various accessories such as hats , hat, belt, big chain, etc…
